What You’ll Learn

Through the Applied Business major, you’ll explore the dynamics of adult learning, organizational development, labor relations and social and environmental responsibility. Our curriculum helps you build a practical understanding of how workplaces evolve and professionals grow with them. You’ll graduate with the skills and expertise for degree pathways or careers in corporate training, adult education, labor relations, human resources and more.

Each micro-certificate can be completed with 2 to 4 classes. Our adult and continuing studies programs are a natural bridge to some of our most high-impact master's degrees, such as our Master of Business Administration or MA in Trauma Informed Leadership programs. High-achieving undergraduates can also apply to take select graduate courses even before finishing your baccalaureate degree—so you can complete your master’s degree faster and save on tuition.
